National Mentoring Symposium

As you may know, the National Mentoring Symposium has not been held since COVID-19. This symposium was an outstanding event to share knowledge, inspiration, and camaraderie for many years. Due to budget constraints, we are no longer able to host the event.

To continue our collective endeavor, we have partnered with the International Mentoring Association (IMA). This collaboration ensures the continued strength of networking and development opportunities to advance collegiate peer mentoring. We are excited to announce a dedicated Peer Mentoring pre-conference and session track at the IMA Conference in February 2024.

Additionally, IMA has released the call for proposals if you would be interested in presenting at the conference about the good work you do.

While this is a significant change, we believe that it presents a new opportunity for us all. It allows us to broaden our horizons, connect with an international community of mentors, and continue to make a difference in the peer mentor programs and mentor’s development.

We encourage you to continue doing what you do best: inspire, guide, and support. Remember, every conversation you have, every student you mentor, and every life you touch contributes to the success of higher education and our society as a whole.
